AttorneyCanada is an online directory and publisher of general legal information. We are not a law firm, we do not practise law, and we do not provide legal advice or representation. Using the site does not create a solicitor-client relationship with us or with any lawyer listed on it.

All content, including guides, fee ranges and provincial summaries, is general information only and may not apply to your situation. Laws and fees change. Always obtain advice from a lawyer licensed in your province before acting or refraining from acting.

You agree not to scrape, bulk-download, resell or republish directory data; not to submit false, misleading or abusive content; not to impersonate a lawyer or firm; not to use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages; and not to interfere with the operation or security of the site.

Lawyers and firms are responsible for the accuracy of their own listing information and for holding a current licence in every jurisdiction where they practise. A verification badge reflects a point-in-time check against a provincial regulator record and is not an endorsement, a quality rating, or a guarantee of any outcome.

When you submit an enquiry, the details are shared with the lawyer or firm you selected so they can reply. Whether they accept your matter is entirely their decision.

Paid membership tiers and per-enquiry pricing are stated in Canadian dollars and billed in advance for the period shown at checkout. Applicable taxes are added. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you may cancel at any time and access continues to the end of the paid period. Featured or sponsored placement is always labelled as such.

The site design, text, guides and branding are owned by AttorneyCanada and protected by Canadian and international copyright law. Listing content submitted by lawyers and firms remains theirs; by submitting it they grant us a licence to publish and promote it on the platform.

The site links to regulators, courts and third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AttorneyCanada is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your dealings with a lawyer or firm found through the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may suspend or remove any listing or restrict access to the site where these terms are breached, where information appears false, or where a regulator advises us to.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.
